Brats, brats, and MORE brats at The World's Largest Brat Fest!

This past Memorial Day Weekend, we were able to indulge in a good ol' Madison, WI tradition: Eating a ton of brats!

The World's Largest Brat Fest battled the weather, but came up on top.  Take that mother nature!

There was a TON of live music, and for all you frugal folks, it was FREE!  So even if you think that $3/brat price tag was too steep for your wallet (proceeds go to charity BTW), you could have stopped by and enjoyed the tunes from Travis Tritt, Lita Ford, Aaron Lewis, Madison County, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (love these guys!), and not get kicked out for not paying!

The fest sold a total of 163,604 brats over the weekend.  Wow!  Truly amazing!!!!

Check out what we ate, drank and enjoyed during this Brat-tastic event!

Our first stop: The Beer Tent!

Our beer choices for the day?

Capitol Brewery Grateful IPA and Wisconsin Amber.

The Roasted Corn

We ate these sans seasonings.  These were good as is slathered in butter.  Yes!

And these 2 lovely ladies were kind enough to volunteer and help us get our corn on.

Non-stop Grilling!

These volunteers were on a mission!  Grilling a ton of brats!  Literally NON-STOP!

We played games!

Who could resist a round of Cornhole?  We sure couldn't.

Up next, the Brat Tent!

We were lucky enough to get there when the lines were at a minimum.  We didn't wait at all.

Check out the sea of yellow-shirted volunteers!

The Chicken Chipotle Monterey Jack Brat

This was our fav!  Yum!

Brat Fest Swag!

Can't leave brat fest without buying some gear!  The beanies are our favs!

The 'Wall of Faces' exhibit.

The reason for Memorial Day wasn't lost during Brat Fest.  A memorial of photographs was available for everyone to honor and remember the men and women of the armed forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.  This volunteer-collected photos submitted to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund will be part of a national exhibit entitled 'Wall of Faces' to be held in the future Education Center at The Wall in Washington DC.

We walked on water inside a Bubble!

Not a real bubble, but a giant inflated plastic ball.  It's a lot harder than it looks folks.  The kids were definitely better at it than us grown-ups.  But soooooo fun!

I Scream You Scream, We All Scream for ICE CREAM!!!

Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream was there and we couldn't resist!

Here's to one of our fav flavors,  This $&@! Just Got Serious™.  😋

Oooooh foxy ladies!

We're talking about these beautiful vehicles, Obvi.

They just happened to be parked on the grass.  The Spyder tho?!?!

Lastly, we sampled some coffee.

The folks from Hills Bros. Coffee were there, Keurig® coffee machines and all, to pass out some much needed coffee samples.  The welcomed caffeine pick-me-up helped us get into our Uber and get through the rest of the day.

Brat Fest was an absolute blast!  We ate a TON of brats, drank our fair share of good Wisconsin beer, and all for a good cause.

We can't wait for next year!  👍🏼
