What everyone should know about Nirvana

Molten Nirvana that is.

Well what the heck is a Molten Nirvana???

Well let me tell you.

Now that Restaurant Week here in Madison has come to a close, I can finally start blogging to all you beautiful people about it.  It was one heck of a week.  

I discovered this tasty delectable when I lunched at Doolittle's Woodfire Grill in Madison as part of my Restaurant Week lunch tour.  This was a bit of a commute for me, but I had to try it.  I've been there before, but only for a private company event.  So it was worth a second go at it, especially for Madison's Restaurant Week.

The decor was contemporary with rustic elements of what looked like reclaimed wood.  There is a subtle salute to aviation in the entire restaurant.  My fav, is this wall art of a plane.  Not sure what kind it is, so if any of you know, please educate me in the comments.

So what went in my belly for lunch?  

After they provided me with complimentary Rosemary bread (which was delish btw) I started with the Citrus Arugula Salad, then the Spit-Roasted Chicken, and finished off with the Molten Nirvana.

Check it out!  You can see I was demolishing the dessert.  

So let's start with the salad.

It was a pretty good salad.  

The lemon-cilantro vinaigrette was super yummy.  They really should start bottling and selling it.  I would buy it quicker than you can say vinaigrette (super proud that I spelled this correctly and auto-spelling didn't need to correct me).

Let's take a look at that salad again shall we?

Now how about that Spit-Fire Roasted Chicken?

And for the grand finale!  The Molten Nirvana!  

My insulin levels were all over the place after this meal.  I drove back to the office fighting a food coma.  

The final verdict?

It was good.  

It was definitely filling.  

They totes almost had to roll me out of there in a wheel-barrow.  It would have taken a lot longer to get back into the office, and I would have some explainin' to do. I can't believe I ate all of that food in under an hour!

Would I go back again?  Sure!  At the very least to reach Nirvana....

...Molten Nirvana.  (see what I did there?)
